The hawk perched on the bleached white skull.

The raven coughed, "That's my spot."

"Why?"

"It's what people expect to see when they come here."

"Sounds like there's a cliché being perpetuated."

The raven considered this, "Yes but... it sets the MOOD, y'know? Makes the humans think about their mortality and all that."

"I would argue that's more the skull than you on it..."

"Granted; I just don't think you'll have the same effect."

LB: Seriously if you like fantasy romance with a twist you should try @vicorva 's Books and Bone. It's funny, it's sweet, the setting is unusual in the best possible way and the protagonist is great. Books and Necromancy should definitely be a genre.

I loved this book and I don't even like romance usually.

Just in case you can't find the boost I am talking about here's a link to where you can read the first three chapters and find links to buy it victoriacorva.xyz/books-bone-s

Lots of new video stuff popping up which is pretty cool! We would quite like to have a at some point, we have quite a bit of video content from YouTube that we'd like to put somewhere nicer, but we probably don't have the funds to host an instance as it stands... :/

A Content Warning hides the body/media of your toot under a "read more" link. You have the option of adding a descriptive line of text to indicate what's below the "cut".

CWs are used in many ways: To indicate sensitive content (nudity, negative discussions, potential triggers, etc.), to prevent spoilers, to hide the punchline of a joke, and many more.

CWs are not censors; they're allowing people to opt-in to viewing your content, which goes a long way to making Mastodon a fun and safe place.

#Nigeria #remittances #worldremit

Anyone sending money to Nigeria, I‘d like to compare experiences and options. Currently use worldremit bank-to-bank, which works well, real fast processing, and feels as safe as this kind of exercise can, to someone with a bit of an IT security obsession. On the downside, the fees are steep, 5% for my kind of small sums. How are you doing it?

Thanks for spreading the question!

#FantasyMap #worldbuilding

Started a new fantasy map for no particular reason. I used Fractal Terrains to generate a random world and then used the resultant image as the basis of my coastlines.

No idea what will happen with this world or what stories I wil tell there, but I'm sure I will come up with something
