So hello! I'm James, I'm a PhD student digital #historian making a database for studying the medieval Caucasus. I'm living in Vienna, though am originally from eastern England, & have he/him pronouns.

@JubalBarca Other than lions, they were the top animal I really wanted to see when I was in South Africa... I got the lions, but no pangos. Someday, though!
@SuzanEraslan Aye, I've never seen one myself either - going to try and see one is definitely a major thing on my life list. I've started writing some children's stories about unusual animals that I should get on & write more of, too...
(Also, all followers welcome, I'm usually around/available to say hi to/good at sending emergency fluffly animal pictures when people need that).
