The former manager of the library: “Do you know how many books I read this months?”
My colleague and I: “Wait… You read a book?”
Former manager: “3!”
Colleague and I: “…WHAT? How did THAT happen??? You are worrying us, are you sick?”
Former manager : “Well, yes. I haven’t read as many in the 10 yrs before that, but now I know why I recommended Yasmina Khadra when I was still working.”
I really miss him, such a funny guy, and a great library manager.
