Okay! I've been around here long enough to know I want to stay, but now that I understand #mastodon a little better I also think I want to find a different #instance to get on. Any suggestions? I like #biology (especially #marine biology), #snails, #fantasy and #scifi, tabletop #gaming, cool #art, #tinkering with old broken electronics, polymer clay #sculpting, and being nebulously #queer (#nonbinary and unsure of romantic/sexual stuff in the context of that). I do not enjoy nazis and edgelords.
@Nerdcoresteve I saw that one before, and they look great, but aren't they kind of overloaded on new users?

@Nerdcoresteve Good to know! iirc I was going to join mastodon.social when I first signed up and they actually closed signups because the servers couldn't take so many new users, but maybe that was a temporary issue.
