.@Blender's videos on have now come back, but they are also being told by Google/YT that they HAVE to monetise them. are considering refusing, which presumably would mean the videos being taken down again:

If you don't want your videos to be exploited, it is important to switch to an independent alternative:

I don't have enough experience to recommend particular instances 😕

However, these might help beginners:

-JoinPeerTube.org has a list of selected instances that accept signups

-An instance's About page should have contact details for the admin and a clear set of rules

-An instance's Local page shows what kind of vids they host (and maybe how good their server is? I'm not sure about this point though)
