The free open pro painting software has a PeerTube channel which has just become active :blobaww:

You can follow Krita's official PeerTube at:

You can follow their official Mastodon account at:

You can download Krita from their official website, it's available for Windows, Mac and Linux:

(NOTE: PeerTube is part of the Fediverse, so you can follow its channels and comment on its videos from Mastodon etc. 👍 )

@switchingsocial @kritafoundation @Krita
yo this program's my bae, I've been hypin Krita up since '16, and it makes me hella happy to see more folks talkin about it //dabs

@switchingsocial @kritafoundation @krita I should really try that out. Been looking for a while for an alternative for photoshop and GIMP never convinced me.  I tried to follow Peertube channels or the root user on Mastodon or Hubzilla but it never worked. Do you have some guide how to do it or working connection?

On Mastodon at least, all you should need to do is click on the links above and then click follow.

To find a follow link on Mastodon, just put the PeerTube channel's URL into the search box, click search and then click follow on the result.

If you're on Hubzilla, perhaps it has problems communicating with PeerTube?

@Michal Klodner I've been able to follow peertube channels from Hubzilla. Seemed to work here too, just click the search icon and type Then connect as usual. Your hub must have the pubcrawl extension activated, and your channel must have the ActivityPub app installed.  On Mastodon (, this ends up with "Waiting for confirmation" and no videos appear. On Peertube (1.2.1) i cannot find any notice, whatever i could confirm. On Hubzilla, it also stays unconfirmed on the Peertube side.

I tried it against 1.3.1 at and it works, maybe i have to upgrade to the newest.

I love Krita. It is one of my favourite free software programs.
Blender also has a PeerTube account that you can follow.
