So it seems to mostly be a client-side issue? I wonder if you could get around most of it by hosting an identity server and Riot instance alongside the homeserver.

@infosechandbook It is beneficial, however, to read the comments to see how incompatible the two parties are in this information exchange. NV actually responded to most of the complaints but the responses were mainly not accepted. I cannot say who's right.
